In this programme, Dr. Ushadevi Hiremath, Associate Professor, Department of Kannada, S.B. Arts and K.C.P. Science College, Vijayapura, was honoured with the “Ramanashree Sharana Uttejana Award – 2025” in recognition of her significant service and achievements in the field of Sharana Literature and Research.


The award was presented by Hon’ble Sri M. B. Patil, Minister for Large & Medium Scale Industries and Infrastructure Development, Government of Karnataka. Former Chief Ministers Sri Basavaraj Bommai, State President of A.B. Sha. Sa. Pa. Dr. C. Somashekhar, President of Ramanashree Pratishthana Sri S. Shadakshari, Vishwavani Editor-in-Chief Sri Vishweshwar Bhat, along with several distinguished guests and dignitaries, graced the occasion and congratulated the awardee.
