Special Lecture on The Role of AI in E-Governance

As an IQAC initiative, the Department of Political Science, BLDEA’s S. B. Arts and K. C. P. Science College, Vijayapur organized a Special Lecture on “The Role of AI in E-Governance” on 19.11.2025 at 09:30 a.m. in the Auditorium Hall.

The guest speaker was Dr. Bandenawaz M. Korabu, Associate Professor, Government First Grade Degree College for Women, Jamakhandi.

Dr. Korabu explained how Artificial Intelligence is transforming governance by improving decision-making, speeding up processes, enhancing security, and reducing fraud. He also cautioned about challenges such as overdependence on AI and its impact on human skills and resources.
