Student Guidance/Counselling Cell

The cell is established with the intention of serving the students related to their education, emotional and mental health. The cell aims at providing advice and assistance to the students related to their education, personal and psychological issues at each stage of their progress. The Counselling Cell motivates the students to understand themselves and issues that bother them. These problems can be personal, emotional, social, family, peer, academic, etc. This is done through individual or group counselling . the role of the counsellor is to be empathetic and patient in understanding and listening the students . and to help the students to overcome the issues.

Objectives

  • To help the students in solving their personal, educational problems.
  • To provide psychological assistance.
  • To create awareness about mental health of student.
  • To motivate faculty to practice counselling skills.
