The college has established Alumni Association (Reg.) named ‘Anannya’. It supports academic and non-academic activities of the college and attempts to lend a helping hand through placement services and enables the students to final suitable jobs. Further, it also organizes regular functions. It has also instituted scholarships for Rural Poor and Meritorious Students.
Aims and Objectives of Alumni Association
- To foster a bond between past students and their Alma Mater.
- To promote and foster mutually beneficial interaction between the Alumni and the present students of the Institution and between the Alumni themselves.
- To encourage the Alumni to take an active and abiding interest in the work and progress of the Institute so as to contribute towards enhancement of the social utility of their Alma Mater.
- To organize and establish scholarship funds to help the needy and deserving students.
- To Institute prizes and awards for outstanding project work, research papers or other professional activity by the students of the Institute.
- Provide a forum for the alumni for exchange of ideas on academic, cultural and social issues of the day.
- Arrange social and cultural functions.
- Members of the Association should act as role models for present students.
- Experts, professionals and dignitaries from among the alumni can provide assistance to the College through guest lectures, resource personnel and seminars. In this way they can help staff and students keep abreast of the latest developments in education, technology and job opportunities.
- Members of the Association should offer career advice and job opportunities to the younger alumni.
