Research Committee

The college has a Research Committee that strives to contribute to the furthering of research at the Institute. The Research Committee is responsible for providing vision and leadership concerning research and research training. The functions of the Research Committee are to consider and recommend an annual research plan at the post-graduate level, which is a part of the curriculum. The department also selects and suggests areas of research activity for preferential support and promotes and monitors research activity within different departments.

Role & Responsibilities of the Research Committee

To create a conducive environment for the promotion of research & innovation activities in the Institute.
To encourage faculty members to apply for major, minor research projects, incubation, design and innovation centers.
To ensure smooth functioning and effective Management of research & innovation activities at the Institute.
To promote collaborative research.
To strengthen industry – institute interaction by promoting consultancy, testing and need based research & innovation activities in the Institute.
