The department of Mathematics was established in 1945. A firm foundation was laid by Prof. T. K. Patil, who headed the department during its inception. At present, Shri A. S. Khyadi is the Head of the department. The department offers a B.Sc. with Mathematics as one of the three main subjects of equal importance. Mathematics as a core subject has four combinations with other options.
