The COVID-19 Cell was created with the Faculty as its Cell members. The awareness of the Pandemic was created and a banner was displayed in the College. The regular sanitization of the entire Campus and Thermal Screen Testing is done and the government instructions are strictly adhered by the Institution.
The College during the COVID-19 Lockdown was involved in various Curricular and Co-Curricular activities. The Technology played a pivotal role in the enhancement of the knowledge –based Education, with the intense initiatives being processed during the lockdown.
The online Classes were engaged by almost all the Faculty of the College . The Live Conferences of the Academic Projects were conducted by the Project Guides and HOD’s of the respective Departments for the Students. The Essay and Quiz Competitions were conducted .The National and International Webinars were organized. The Specific Days , Anti-Terrorism Day and World Environment Day, were celebrated maintaining the Social Distancing .The Plant Saplings were planted to commemorate the Environment Day and register the message ‘Save the Environment’.
The college has given top priory to research activities. During the last five years, while 17 papers have been published at the national level, 66 papers have been published at the international level.
The Sanskrit Sandhya Kendra of the college is committed to propagate India's culture and revive the Sankrit language.
Both indoor and outdoor sports activities are being encouraged, keeping the all-round development of students in mind.
A multi-gym too has been made available for the students to stay fit. The college has won 18 university blues over the last four years and has been the champions of youth fest for four years.
NCC and NSS regularly conduct extension activities. Over the last five years, the college has successfully placed 200 students in various organizations.
The Students and the Faculty shouldered the social responsibility during this situation of emergency with the release of the Videos which created the Public awareness of the Dos and the Don’ts, to stop the spread of this Pandemic.
