History

• The Department of Economics was established in the year 1966. The credit of laying a firm foundation of the Department goes to Prof. Sakare. At present Shri G.K.Chakarshale is Head of the Department.
• The department offers B.A. with Economics. Economics as a core subject has 06 combinations with other optional subjects.
• The department offers UGC sponsored Career Oriented Programme (COP) in “Business Economics” along with B.A. course.
