BLDE Association's S.B. Arts and K.C.P. Science College, Vijayapura

The NCC Unit, NSS Unit I & II, in association with the Department of Botany and Hasiru Siri Committee, celebrated World Environment Day on 5 June 2026 at 11:30 AM under the theme "Restore Our Earth, Embrace Our Future." The programme was organized to create environmental awareness and encourage sustainable practices among students.

The event was graced by Principal Dr. Anil B. Naik, Associate NCC Officer Dr. Ramachandra Naik M., Hasiru Siri Coordinator Mrs. Krishna Mandla, and Dr. Mahesh Kumar, who emphasized the importance of environmental conservation and the role of youth in protecting nature.

As part of the celebration, activities such as a Tree Plantation Drive, Plastic Cleanup Campaign, Awareness Rally, and Eco-Friendly Awareness Programmes were conducted. A total of 35 NCC cadets, NSS volunteers from Unit I & II, and 27 Botany students actively participated in the event and demonstrated their commitment towards environmental protection.

The programme concluded with an environmental pledge, inspiring participants to adopt eco-friendly practices and contribute towards building a greener and more sustainable future. The active involvement of NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, faculty members, and students made the celebration meaningful and successful.
